Mountain and Mesa Studio started out in an old shed behind the house. The shed was remodeled into a ceramic studio. Dan's wife, Liz, taught summer ceramics classes there for the City of Durango. The music studio was in a spare room just off the kitchen. If only those walls could talk. They definitely couldn't hear after the musicians recorded their loud songs. That was back in the mid-1990s.

 

Today, Mountain and Mesa Music resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dan is currently working on music soundtracks for books and Massage Therapy sessions. Absolutely Hutely: Dan and Hutely Meet the Minoans features 13 songs that were written and performed by Dan Tilley. Each song's lyrics are an integral part of the story.
